The BBDC is a partnership between the City of Beachwood and Cleveland State University's Nance College of Business Administration. The BBDC promotes entrepreneurial growth of local and international early stage companies by providing an array of resource, support, and business development services.
What separates the Beachwood Business Development Center from other “incubator type” organizations is we don’t simply give you some space, a few amenities and hope for the best. Our staff, from top to bottom, takes an active role in working to help you succeed. We promote your business, we help you find partners and funding opportunities and we can help introduce you to government contacts and others who can provide strategic assistance in your related areas of need.
Our goal is to help you build partnerships and expand your opportunities domestically and internationally. Through our affiliation with a various local, national and international resource partners we have helped foreign companies who brought us their ideas and technologies expand or launch their businesses in the U.S. market. We have brought new clients to the BBDC from China, Israel and India and are continually working to build strategic alliances with other countries throughout the world. We have also helped launch domestic companies here in Northeast Ohio that exhibited real growth potential with exciting new business concepts and technologies. Companies that have found real value and support through the BBDC and throughout the entire Northeast Ohio area.
